The Herons announced that their teenage sensation is set to be sidelined until April at the earliest, after the 18-year-old underwent surgery for a sports hernia. it will be a gaping hole in the midfield for Tata Martino, who was expecting the USMNT starlet to play an important role for him centrally.

Cremaschi being sidelined is an all around negative for the Herons, as the youngster provided a spark in the XI and off the bench in 2023. He even received his first USMNT call up and played in an international friendly against Oman. He started 21 of 28 matches last campaign, netting two goals and attributing four assists.
