The Hungary international has been on Liverpool's radar for months and has reported that a package worth £40-45m ($54-61m) is "at an advanced stage". There are still things to resolve as talks between the clubs continue, but it is possible that an agreement is reached by the end of the week that makes him Liverpool's third major signing of of the summer after bringing in Jeremie Frimpong and hammering out a deal for Florian Wirtz.

Atletico Madrid are seeemingly keen, although it has been reported that they ideally want Liverpool to release him on a free transfer.
